Atlantic Shark Finning Ban Signed!

The International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT), which includes 63 countries, agreed at its annual meeting to ban shark finning. South Korea was the only country in opposition.

Shark finning has been banned by the USA in the Atlantic since 1993 and in the Pacific Ocean since 2002.
